Bill Grant, Treasurer:

Bill received a BS in Chemistry, with a math and physics minor.  After 9 years as a production chemist and production engineer, he made a career change to join a small independent oil and gas exploration and production company.  In this capacity he supervised six drilling rigs, two oilfield supply stores and field gathering and natural gas compression operations.  When this position ended in 1980, he started his own oil and gas exploration company, Grant Oil, Inc. and Enterprise Production Company.  Concurrently with the new exploration company, Bill teamed with three partners to form Gold Park Mining Company, with placer claims on 15,000 acres in Park County Colorado.  This lead to the formation of Peregrine Gold, a holding company for Clear Creek County mining claims.  During a downturn in the mid 80’s, Bill and his CPA formed a Registered Investment Advisory Company offering portfolio advice and money management.  Retired in 2010, Bill continues to serve on his volunteer HOA board, and joined the Carbondale Economic Development Partnership in 2011.  He currently is developing a plan and feasibility study for Crystal Spirits, a craft distillery, and a seasonal retail store.  Golf, fly fishing and skiing are his most frequent distractions.
