Statewide Programs & Services:

  • Small Business Development Center Hotline (303-592-5920) The Hotline is the first point of contact for new and existing small business owners with questions about federal, state, and local licensing requirements.  The Hotline also provides referrals to a variety of state and federal assistance programs and local, small business training around the state.
  • The Colorado Business Resource Guide can be accessed at www.coloradosbdc.org.
  • Minority and Women-Owned Business Support:  The MBO provides a database of minority and women-owned businesses in Colorado.  The database can be accessed here.  This works to connect minority and women-owned businesses with prime contractors in both the public and private sectors.  The MBO also offers referrals to applicable resources, assistance with Surety Bond Training, coordination of Procurement Conferences and Expos, and monthly resource information sessions.  Please visit www.advancecolorado.com.
  • The Colorado Leading Edge Program:  The Leading Edge program delivers comprehensive training to small businesses by providing entrepreneurs with a better understanding of finance and marketing aspects as they relate to the successful management of their business through business plan development.  Multiple courses are available including Startup Business, Existing Business, Creative Industries, Agricultural-Based Business, Emerging Industires.   Visit www.advancecolorado.com to learn more.
